Dial-a-Ride Eligibility
Dial-a-Ride service is available for seniors and disabled persons and anyone living more than 1/4 mile beyond the MARTA fixed route. All other passengers must use MARTA's fixed route service.
DAR service is a shared ride system. DAR passengers may be picked up or dropped off while a vehicle is in route to another passenger pick-up. Passengers, therefore, should always allow at least 30 minutes to reach
their destination.
DAR passengers must call for service at least two (2) hours prior to requested pickup time and provide their name, pick up location, number of riders, destination, and a call back phone number. If a pick up location is difficult to access, if the passenger requires assistance, or if the passenger must be at his/her destination at a specific time, he/she must ADVISE THE DISPATCHER. Appointments for return trips should be made at the time of initial appointment when possible.
The dispatcher will notify the passenger of the estimated arrival time; however, passenger(s) should always be ready at least thirty (30) minutes prior to the scheduled pick up time. Driver will wait no longer than two (2) minutes for passenger at pickup location.

CANCELLATIONS
Must be made at least one (1) hour prior to scheduled appointment. Late Cancellations and “No Shows”
make trip scheduling difficult and can cause denial of service to other
Dial-a-Ride clients. For this reason, MARTA has established a "No Show Policy." Please read our "No Show Policy."
